Chandra joined UT CTAS in April 2023. Prior to joining UT CTAS, she served as an educator and administrator for 16 years during her tenure in Metropolitan Nashville Public Schools. Chandra also worked in non-profit and private sectors providing operational and training support for departments and teams in the area of leadership development and certification. She holds a bachelor of arts and sciences in social sciences and a master of education K-12 from Tennessee State University; and a master of education in educational leadership and administration and a doctorate of education (Ed.D.) in leadership and professional practices from Trevecca Nazarene University. Chandra is passionate about process and operational improvement, and helping individuals grow as leaders. In her spare time, she enjoys being outdoors, hiking, fishing, water sports, and spending time with her family. In 2023, Chandra earned the designation of Certified Professional in Training Management (CPTM).
