Private Acts of 1969 Chapter 40

SECTION 1. The County Sheriff of Wayne County shall have the right to employ a suitable person as radio dispatcher for the Wayne County Sheriff's Department at a salary of two thousand four hundred dollars ($2,400.00) per annum. Such radio dispatcher is to be employed at the county jail on a twelve-hour per day basis and to be paid monthly in twelve (12) equal installments out of the general funds of the County.

SECTION 2. This Act shall have no effect unless it is approved by a two-thirds (2/3) vote in the Quarterly County Court in Wayne County at or before the next regular meeting of the Court occurring more than thirty (30) days after its approval by the Governor. Its approval or non-approval shall be proclaimed by the presiding officer of the Court and certified by him to the Secretary of State.

SECTION 3. This Act shall take effect upon becoming a law, the public welfare requiring it.
