Private Acts of 1933 Chapter 624

SECTION 1. That the County Register of Deeds of Washington County is hereby
authorized to establish an office at Jonesboro in Washington County, Tennessee, in addition to
the office maintained by the said Register of Deeds, at the County Seat.
The Register of Deeds of Washington County is authorized to appoint a Clerk who shall
be employed in the said Jonesboro office and shall receive as compensation for his services the
sum of Nine Hundred ($900.00) Dollars per annum, which compensation shall be payable only
out of the fees earned at the office of the County Register of Washington County.
SEC. 2. That this Act take effect at the expiration of the present Deputy Registers term
of office, the public welfare requiring it.
