The University of Tennessee Institute for Public Service SMART Initiative is hiring three SMART Substance Use Consultants in the Jackson area to provide technical assistance to cities and counties across the state. The consultants will connect directly with city and county leaders through our other Institute for Public Service agencies to provide technical assistance for anything substance use related, such as providing guidance on spending opioid settlement funds, providing education to community stakeholders, assisting with grant writing and management, guiding program implementation, and conducting program or community impact evaluation. We are hoping to place one of these consultants in our Jackson office to serve West TN.
