Basic County Finance Certificate is designed for newly hired finance and budget staff employees, and elected/appointed officials such as county commissioners, mayors, highway officials, and directors of schools with limited financial knowledge or experience. In these courses, users will learn to initiate, record, and process various governmental fund transactions.
Participants earn this certificate upon completion of the required eleven (11) courses for a total of ten (10) credits. The program consists of a variety of topics related to finance, budgeting, and other related skills. The program may be taken on its own or before, during, or after the CCFO program.
This certification program is 100% online. The enrollment fee for this program is $150.00.
