Classes Begin the Week of Jan. 15
Did you make a New Year’s resolution to learn a new language this year? Maybe you interact with people in your job with limited or no English and want to make communication easier. If so, as a county employee in Tennessee, you can take a free, 9-week language course from the Tennessee Language Center (TLC).
Classes begin the week of Jan. 15, 2024, and are provided free to you through a partnership with the Tennessee Language Center and CTAS. Fill out this form, and TLC will email you with the code and instructions for registration. These classes are two hours a week. Online classes are held over Zoom in real-time with an instructor and other students to interact with. There are some in-person classes available in Nashville and Memphis.
