Ben Rodgers
The County Officials Association of Tennessee (COAT) Board of Directors have officially named a new Executive Director. After extensive deliberation and multiple interviews, Ben Rodgers was nominated by their Executive Committee to lead COAT into the next phase of the association. His official start date will be Monday, March 18, 2024.
Ben has been a county government consultant with CTAS for the better part of 19 years, bringing his extensive knowledge of county government to COAT. Ben holds a bachelor of science degree in accounting, a master of arts degree in leadership and public service. He has completed the UT Institute for Public Service Leadership Academy and is a Certified Fraud Examiner and a Certified Public Manager.
We are eternally grateful for Ben's service to CTAS and will greatly miss him as a staff member here. However, we are ecstatic to have him remain a vital partner to CTAS in his new role at COAT. This isn't goodbye; it's definitely a "see you soon!"
