Authorizing Property Tax Levy

SECTION 1. BE IT RESOLVED, by the county legislative body of ___________ County, Tennessee, assembled in regular session on this __________ day of ____________, 20__, that the combined property tax rate for ______________ County, Tennessee for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 20 , shall be $3.88 on each $100.00 of taxable property, which is to provide revenue for each of the following funds and otherwise conform to the following levies:

General .49
Highway/Public Works .31
General Purpose School 2.30
School Transportation .23
General Debt Service .55
TOTAL 3.88

SECTION 2. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the County Trustee shall reflect the property tax rate upon receipts used in collecting property taxes.

SECTION 3. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that all resolutions of the county legislative body of _____________ County, Tennessee, which are in conflict with this resolution are hereby repealed.

SECTION 4. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that this Resolution take effect from and after its passage, the public welfare requiring it. This resolution shall be spread upon the minutes of the county legislative body.
